The student center will be a three-story, 40,000-square-foot facility. The $14 million project is expected to be finished by early summer 2017. It will have expanded, table-dining options for students, as well as a café and a convenience store. The building will also include gathering spaces for students, a fitness center and a patio on the second floor with outdoor seating. The architects are: Robert Stillings, owner of Architectural Resources Inc., of Providence; Saccoccio and Associates Architects, of Cranston; and Connor Architecture, of Lexington, Mass. The general contractor is Anodyne, of East Providence.
