A wish recently came true for one Warwick resident who needed a laptop with special software to complete college coursework.
Sarah David, who has a severe case of Crohn’s disease, is often unable to type because of symptoms associated with her illness. To make her first year of college easier, Tech 911 Inc. and Children’s Wishes presented David with a MacBook Pro laptop with Retina Display software that will allow her to dictate her work to her computer.
Along with her laptop, David received a printer and a $500 gift card to the Apple Store so she can choose a laptop case and other accessories.
According to Children’s Wishes, Tech 911 Inc. was responsible for doing research to make sure David’s laptop had all necessary software and virus protection and that the compatible items were correctly chosen. The company also guided David in using her computer’s special features and software.
David, her family and Tech 911 employees gathered at the Children’s Wishes office on Oct. 19 for a small party to celebrate her granted wish. •
