Johnson & Wales University officials dedicate Rhode Island’s first cooperative-style housing for students on Sept. 3 in Cranston. Thirty-five student residents helped celebrate the opening of Centennial House. Located at 135 Norwood St., Centennial House is focused on self-governance and requires residents to engage in community-service projects throughout the academic year.
