TD Bank gets strong reviews

PROVIDENCE – Rhode Islanders have provided some of the most positive feedback on TD Bank’s Customer WOW Index among the financial institution’s Maine-to-Florida footprint, according to the bank.
“We’ve really been hitting it out of the park in Rhode Island since we got here,” said Amy Beauchamp, TD Bank retail market manager for the region covering Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts.
The bank has 1,300 locations, which it calls “stores” rather than branches, in every east coast state from Maine to Florida except Georgia.
“We ask customers how they felt when they came in to our store and how likely they are to recommend us. They’re telling us they’re extremely likely to recommend us to family and friends,” Beauchamp said of the results in Rhode Island.
The Customer WOW index polls about 17 customers per store every month, she said.
TD Bank moved into the Rhode Island market in 2010 and currently six “stores” located in Providence, East Providence, Barrington, Johnston, Warwick and Cranston.
The bank plans to open a seventh branch in Pawtucket in August, Beauchamp said.
