The Tetrault Insurance Agency recently held the annual Salvation Army Kick-Off Dinner to raise money for The Salvation Army. The insurance agency then matched the event’s proceeds, making a total donation of $24,000.
“Typically, The Salvation Army officers have to organize and run a fundraiser themselves, but the employees at Tetrault Insurance Agency take care of everything for us,” said Maj. Gilbert Parkhurst, head of yhe Salvation Army’s New Bedford Corps. “This year the need has gone up so high and that makes us even more grateful for what they do.
The annual Salvation Army Kick-Off Dinner was held at the United Fisherman’s Club in New Bedford and also collected hats, mittens and gloves.
Paul Tetrault, co-founder of Tetrault Insurance Agency, said, “We raise money before the holidays so The Salvation Army can buy toys and items they need in order to run their Holiday ‘Store’ Free Toy Distribution Program. We’re thankful we’re able to give back so they can help the families.” &#8226
