The Procaccianti Group buys Baltimore hotel

PROVIDENCE – The Procaccianti Group, a real estate investment and management company with corporate headquarters in Cranston, has acquired a hotel in Baltimore.

The group announced Tuesday that it acquired the Holiday Inn Baltimore Inner Harbor, the 61st hotel in its portfolio. Locally, it owns The Wyndham Garden Providence; The Westin Providence; Comfort Inn Airport Warwick; Hilton Providence; Lighthouse Inn and Ocean Rose Inn, both in Narragansett; and the Sheraton Providence Airport Hotel in Warwick.

The latest acquisition is a 13-story, 365 guest room hotel located at 301 West Lombard St.; it is in close proximity to the Baltimore Convention Center, the National Aquarium, and the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and has a fitness center, indoor pool, sauna, and a business center, a news release said.

The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
