Tickets still available for BIF 2016

PROVIDENCE – There are still a few tickets available for the Business Innovation Factory’s BIF 2016 Summit on Sept. 14 and 15.

The 12th annual event, which will bring together 32 storytellers and innovators from all over the world, will be held at Trinity Repertory Co. downtown.

Notable speakers include Gregory Downing, executive director for innovation in the Office of the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Dava Newman, deputy administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Newman’s discussion is entitled, “Inspiring The Next Generation – The Kids Who Will Explore Mars.”
More than 500 innovators attended last year’s conference.

“Benevolent troublemakers need community, a space to play and opportunities to collide. The BIF Summit exists as a means to enable a purposeful community of innovation junkies who want to design, prototype and test new business models and social systems in the real world,” reads the description about the summit on the BIF website.
“As always, the BIF Summit is focused on great storytelling, allowing our audience to connect the dots around themes that emerge, such as finding your purpose, building community and identifying better ways to deliver value,” it states.
