Total Fitness Clubs raises more than $59K for American Cancer Society

BRISTOL – In support of the 2016 American Cancer Society’s annual Pedal to End Cancer event, the Total Fitness Clubs team raised $59,800 and was the top fundraising group in New England.

Laura Jenkins of Total Fitness Clubs said 2016 has been a record-breaking year in terms of both participation and fundraising.

She added: “We’re especially proud of Total Fitness Member Andrea Alexander who, in addition to being the top Pedal to End Cancer fundraiser in all of New England, is the top fundraiser since the event’s inception in 2005.”

Katy DiMare, the senior manager of community events at the American Cancer Society, said the organization “values its longstanding relationship with Total Fitness Clubs and applauds its effort and the tremendous success of this year’s Pedal to End Cancer fundraising event.”
