In honor of its 50th season, Trinity Repertory Co. recently celebrated the patrons who have supported its past and invested in its future.
At an event held on March 18, the theater announced the creation of three funds within its endowment. Established through bequests, the funds honor the memories of subscriber Victoria Irene Ball, resident composer Richard “DeeDee” Cumming, and acting company member Margo Skinner.
In addition, former Trinity Rep trustee Harris N. “Hershey” Rosen gave an overview of his forthcoming book, “So Your Partner Can Go On Living!,” which will be published this spring and offered as a gift to those who document planned giving to the theater through the end of the year.
Trinity also unveiled a plaque honoring one of its founders, Milton Stanzler, who died last year.
“Events like these are the heart of Trinity Rep,” said Kathryn A. Calnan, director of development. “As we approach our 50th season, it’s important to remember everyone who has ensured the theater never goes dark and that the dialogue never ends.” •
