Tunstall’s Pawtucket center to open on April 16

LONG ISLAND CITY, N.Y. – Tunstall Americas, a division of U.K.-based Tunstall Healthcare Group, and a provider of health care communications services, has announced the opening of its new data and operations center in Pawtucket as April 16.

The grand opening for the center is planned for Tuesday, April 16, at 4:30 p.m. at the center’s 100 Freight St. location in Pawtucket.

The 85,000-square-foot facility will support 24/7 operations throughout the year. According to a Tunstall release, the center will employ 250 Rhode Island-based workers, many of whom will fill new positions as call center operators and medical support staff.

Tunstall boasts that the new center is “state-of-the-art” and features high-speed and redundant communications infrastructure, telephony platform Avaya, a full disaster recovery model and “the highest security available.”

“Our new data and operations center provides industry-leading capabilities that ensure a stable infrastructure, secure environment for data and our office, and our ability to manage disasters and recover from them quickly,” Brad Waugh, president and CEO of Tunstall Americas, said in prepared remarks. “Additionally, our customers will appreciate our ability to easily integrate our systems with saleforce.com, provide quick access to customer insights and handle materials fulfillment services for them, too.”
