UMass Dartmouth in top 20 for online computer science master’s program

DARTMOUTH – The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth has been named one of the top 20 universities for online computer science master’s degree programs.
Computer Science Online ranked 43 colleges and universities across the country. UMass Dartmouth ranked No. 20, while another member of the UMass system, UMass Lowell, ranked No. 2.
Programs were considered based on a variety of criteria, including program offerings, tuition costs, placement services for graduates and academic counseling service.
UMass Dartmouth’s online master of science degree in computer science, under the university’s college of engineering, provides a broad and deep knowledge of computer science through a strong core program paired with a wide selection of elective courses, according to the university. The program emphasizes software development.
