URI College of Pharmacy nets three significant gifts

SOUTH KINGSTOWN – The University of Rhode Island’s College of Pharmacy recently received three significant gifts, two from alumni of the program and one from an anonymous donor.

Paul Hastings, a 1984 alumnus of the program, made a $100,000 gift to an existing scholarship honoring one of his favorite professors, Norman Campbell, and pledged another $150,000 for a total gift of $250,000.

Dea Belazi, a 2001 graduate of the school’s doctoral program, established a new student scholarship with a $25,000 gift commitment.

Additionally, an anonymous gift commitment of $75,000 was registered to support the College of Pharmacy Innovation Fund.
