URI ranked No. 38 on top 100 party schools list

NEW YORK – The University of Rhode Island ranked No. 38 on FiestaFrog.com’s list of the 2013 Top 100 College Party Schools

Fiesta Frog is a website that automatically updates users with parties, bar specials and nightlife events happening in real time in their area. “The minds behind FiestaFrog.com have made it their mission to help people find nightlife events, no matter where they are located,” said a release. “It’s no surprise that a lot of parties happen on college campuses.”

To make the top 100 list, campuses were visited, students were polled and “countless partiers were spoken to,” according to a release.

Arizona State University, Florida State University and the University of Wisconsin Madison earned the top three spots on FiestaFrog’s list.

Other New England schools on the list include:

• Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn.

• University of New Hampshire, Durham, N.H.

• The University of Massachusetts Amherst

• University of Maine, Orono, Maine

• Fitchburg State College, Fitchburg, Mass.

• University of Connecticut, Storrs, Conn.
