Utilidata appoints new chief operating officer

PROVIDENCE – C.J. Meiser has joined Utilidata Inc. as its chief operating officer.
Meiser has experience in operations, product management and customer support, previously leading product and solution delivery teams for Schneider Electric, according to a news release about the appointment from Utilidata.
“With more than 20 years of experience in global high-tech industries, C.J. has a proven track of developing operational excellence and rapidly scaling companies,” Scott DePasquale, chairman and CEO of Utilidata, said in a statement. “He is skilled in aligning operations strategies to meet corporate strategic goals, which will be important for Utilidata as we expand our deployment and operational capabilities.”
At Utilidata, Meiser will focus on achieving excellence in customer delivery and support, the company said.
Utilidata is a global software company that is partnering with utilities to modernize the electric grid.
Meiser was vice president at Schneider Electric. Prior to Schneider Electric, Meiser was senior manager at American Power Conversion. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Fairfield University and has secured two software patent grants.
