Utilidata hires Brumberger as business development executive

PROVIDENCE – Energy optimization and management company Utilidata Inc. announced on June 5 that Josh Brumberger will join the firm as a business development executive based at the company’s Providence headquarters.
“We are very excited to have Josh join our team. His diverse background in both the public and private sectors will be instrumental as Utilidata expands,” said Mike Donohue, executive vice president of Utilidata. “Josh’s unique understanding of the industry, regulatory and government nexus will help position the company for continued growth.”
Brumberger currently serves as deputy treasurer for policy under R.I. General Treasurer Gina M. Raimondo and is a former business development associate at Fortress Investment Group. In his new role, he will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the company’s strategic growth, Utilidata said.
“Utilidata operates in a very innovative, high-growth space,” said Brumberger. “I’m excited at the prospect of growing this Rhode Island-based company and introducing its energy efficiency technologies to new sectors and clients.”
