VNS Home Health named a top provider

SOUTH KINGSTOWN – VNS Home Health Services, a visiting nurse agency that is part of the South County Hospital Healthcare System, was recently designated as one of the country’s top home health care providers.
It is one of four home health care agencies in the state to receive the HomeCare Elite designation.
OCS HomeCare by National Research Corporation, a leading provider of home health metrics and analytics, and DecisionHealth, publisher of a well-respected newsletter in the home-health profession, use publicly available data from Home Health Compare and the CMS Cost Reports to create the HomeCare Elite List of agencies. Five domains of performance were cumulatively analyzed – quality of care, quality improvement and consistency, patient experience, process measure implementation, and financial performance. •
