Vector Software opens Germany office

PROVIDENCE – Vector Software Inc., which designs software-testing solutions for embedded systems and applications, announced last week that it has opened an office in Munich to serve its key customers in southern Germany, as well as clients in Austria and Switzerland.
The office is Vector Software’s second in Germany, with the first located in Kempen.
In conjunction with the launch of the Munich office, Vector Software has named Winfried Schroeder to the role of business development manager for the Germany-Austria-Switzerland region. In this new role, Schroeder will coordinate regional marketing and business development efforts.
“The VectorCast family of embedded testing solutions has taken off in the German market,” said Schroeder. “We’ve opened this new location in Munich to complement our Kempen office, and to best serve our customers in the geographic center of the German embedded software market.”
The last two years have seen a rapid adoption of the VectorCast embedded testing solution within the automotive, industrial and medical device industries in Germany, the company said, and the Munich office will provide technical and sales support to these customers.
“Vector Software is growing across the globe,” said William McCaffrey, chief operating officer of VectorSoftware. “Due to our expanding reach into the region, the new office in Germany will enable us to best serve our customers in Europe.”
