Vets to honor Carters

PROVIDENCE – An April 26 fundraiser at The Vets Foundation will honor philanthropists John and Letitia Carter, whose support helped renovate a ballroom at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium.
The cocktail event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Vets newly remodeled City View Ballroom inside the auditorium.
Letitia Carter is the past president of The VETS Foundation and serves on the board’s finance committee.
This event, the first to be held in the newly restored white box/ballroom space on the sixth floor of The Vets, will feature tours of the newly restored spaces, plus entertainment.
Hosts include the board of The Vets Foundation: Paul Brooks, John McGinn, David Winoker, Mark Malkovich, J. Michael Abbott, David Beauchesne, Nancy Carriuolo, David Corbett, Nancy Ehrlich, Kaitlyn Frolich, Robert Flanders Jr., Thomas Humphreys, James Koloski, Gerald Massa, Kathleen Pletcher, Della Rodriquez-Masjoan, Dennis Stark, Rick Simone, Lizzi Weinberg, Alan Chille, James McCarvill, Norbert Mongeon, and Daniel Schwartz.
Tickets are $100 a person. Proceeds go to The Vets Foundation.
