W&I physicians tapped to help produce textbook

PROVIDENCE – Dr. Tina Rizack, an oncologist-hematologist with the Program in Women’s Oncology at Women & Infants Hospital was recently tapped by publisher McGraw-Hill to co-edit the oncology section of a new edition of Principles and Practice of Hospital Medicine.

Rizack is also an assistant professor of medicine at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Dr. Ashley Stuckey and Dr. Katina Robison, also of the Program in Women’s Oncology and also both assistant professors at Alpert Medical School, will write the chapter for the book specific to women’s cancers.

The book will update the first edition published in 2012, which included more than 700 illustrations and background information in each of the clinical, organizational and administrative areas physicians are responsible for in order to practice hospital medicine.
