Wlne-tv/abc6 names marc fauci vice president and director of sales


(Providence-RI) Marc Fauci is joining WLNE-TV / ABC6 in Providence as Vice President and Director of Sales. The announcement was made today in Providence by WLNE-TV/ ABC6 Vice President and General Manager Steve Doerr. “I am extremely impressed with Marc’s ability to connect with people and the depth of his knowledge of the technical aspects of selling, pricing and inventory utilization. He has established relationships with the advertising community throughout Southern New England. Marc will provide forceful, focused and positive leadership in our sales department and throughout the organization,” according to Doerr.

Fauci most recently spent 7 years as the Local Sales Manager for WCVB, the Hearst-owned ABC station in Boston. Prior to that, he spent five years at WHDH in Boston, the final three as National Sales Manager. He spent two years on the board of directors of the Boston Ad Club and is a graduate of the Foundations of Leadership Program at the Northwestern School of Media Management.

Marc is a graduate of Boston University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and his Master’s degree in Communications. While at BU, Fauci was an all-American linebacker and a two year football captain. He is a member of the Induction Class of 2010 of the Boston University Athletic Hall of Fame.

Fauci will begin his new position Monday, February 8th. "I can not wait to begin working with the great group of talented and hard working media professionals at WLNE,” he stated.
