Wanderu expands partnership with Peter Pan Bus Lines

PROVIDENCE – Wanderu, a Boston-based ground travel search engine in North America, expanded its partnership with Peter Pan Bus Lines to increase its Northeast coverage, enabling users to book bus tickets to more than 60 locations in Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and New York.
Until the expansion, Wanderu only offered tickets for a limited number of Peter Pan’s routes that were part of the carrier’s Express service provided in collaboration with Greyhound, another Wanderu partner.

“By making Peter Pan’s extensive network of bus routes available on Wanderu, we are providing travelers across North America with a lot more flexibility when it comes to planning a trip,” Polina Raygorodskaya, CEO and co-founder of Wanderu, said in a statement. “Peter Pan travels daily to and from locations that no other carrier serves which allows us to provide our users with many new opportunities to explore the country.”

Said Peter Picknelly, CEO and chairman of Peter Pan Bus Lines, “Peter Pan is pleased to partner with Wanderu, so more Northeast travelers can discover our bus schedules as options for their next trip. We know people have a lot of transportation options these days. We anticipate that some new customers will learn about Peter Pan’s services through Wanderu and discover the advantages of traveling on a Peter Pan bus.”

News of the Peter Pan collaboration comes several months after Wanderu signed a deal with Amtrak, incorporating the railroad service’s routes into its search network. As a result of its partnerships, Wanderu offers coverage of more than 90 percent of the U.S. reachable by ground, the company said
