Warwick to be home to Nordstrom Rack

WARWICK – Construction began last week on a new 37,360-square-foot Nordstrom Rack discount department store in a new wing of the expanding Warwick Mall.
The store is slated to open in the fall and offer a similar mix of clothes, shoes and accessories as Nordstrom’s regular stores offer, but at deeply reduced prices.
The new store will become the first Nordstrom Rack in Rhode Island.
The company operates a regular Nordstrom department store at the Providence Place mall in Providence.
When it opens, Nordstrom Rack will join other new additions to the Warwick Mall, including a Jordan’s Furniture store that opened last month. The new store will join 80 other retail locations in the mall including anchor tenants Macy’s, JCPenney and Target, plus 12 restaurants and a 12-screen multiplex movie theater. &#8226
