WashTrust declares 4Q dividend

WESTERLY – Washington Trust Bancorp has declared a dividend of 22 cents per share for the quarter ending Dec. 31. The dividend will be paid on Jan. 13 to shareholders of record on Jan. 3.

It is the fourth quarter in a row in which the financial services company will have paid a 22 cent dividend, following 11 consecutive quarters in which it paid a 21 cents-per-share dividend.

The dividend paid has doubled since the end of 1999, according to Yahoo! Finance.
