WESTERLY – Washington Trust Bancorp has opened a mortgage loan production office in Glastonbury, Conn., outside Hartford.
The Washington Trust Home Loan Center has eight employees and will originate residential loans, and home equity loans and lines of credit. Residential products to be marketed at the location include: fixed-rate loans; variable-rate loans; construction loans, jumbo mortgages and reverse mortgages. In addition, the bank said that mortgage loan processing and underwriting will take place at the center.
James Gueltzow, vice president and Connecticut regional manager, and Steven Veronesi, vice president and Connecticut area manager, are in charge of the office, which Washington Trust expects will facilitate growth in the Connecticut market.
