Washington Trust announces photo winner

WESTERLY – Washington Trust and Rhode Island Monthly have announced that “Corey T,” a photo taken by Eric Wertheimer, of Wakefield, is the recent winner of the I Luv RI photo contest and will appear in the April 2012 issue of Rhode Island Monthly Magazine.

“I have been here long enough to appreciate how much the fishing village of Galilee means to the state… as an industry, as part of our history, and as a favorite location for the seasoned tourist,” Wertheimer said. “The storm clouds help to magnify the true beauty of the area; the vessels, and the landscape, accentuated by the lighthouse across the way. This is Rhode Island.”
Each month in 2012, a winning photo will be selected and published in Rhode Island Monthly magazine.
