SOUTH KINGSTOWN – Washington Trust recently donated $50,000 to the Campaign for Cancer Care at South County Hospital.

The campaign intends to raise $6.5 million in support of the hospital’s planned community cancer center, which will include a chemotherapy infusion center with offices for physicians and other care team members.

“Washington Trust has long been a strong supporter of the work we do here at South County Hospital, and we are deeply grateful for its generous contribution to our Campaign for Cancer Care,” said South County President and CEO Louis Giancola.
