Washington Trust provides $3.1M to Marsilio Group

STRATFORD, Conn. – The Washington Trust Co. recently provided $3.1 million to a multitenant-industrial portfolio here, the company announced.
The Westerly-based community bank, with $3.8 billion in assets, provided the funding through its commercial real estate division to The Marsilio Group, a Westport, Conn,-based real estate management company owned by Ronald S. Marsilio.
“We are pleased to expand our relationship with Mr. Marsilio, refinancing this well-positioned property, which has strong access to Routh 95 and appeal to service-oriented tenants,” said Julia Anne M. Slom, senior vice president of commercial real estate at Washington Trust.
The property includes two buildings: a 28,353-square-foot office and warehouse building on 1.6 acres of land and a 32,000-square-foot office and warehouse building on 2.3 acres of land. The former has four tenants, including FedEx, Rexel Inc., All My Sons Moving & Storage and American Institute for Healthcare and Technology. The latter property is fully leased by FedEx, according to a press release.
