Washington Trust refinances Conn. office building

Washington Trust’s Commercial Real Estate Group recently provided $8.6 million to Ridgebury Office Investment LLC to refinance a Connecticut Class A office property.
The office building, in Danbury, Conn., is a four-story, 126,107 square feet office space with 12 separate tenant spaces, a newly designed lobby and a landscaped outdoor seating plaza, according to a Thursday press release. The building is close to the Danbury Municipal Airport with easy access to I-84 and Highway 6.
“With its close proximity to New York, Fairfield County is an attractive destination for businesses to centralize their headquarters and regional offices,” said Joseph J. MarcAurele, Washington Trust chairman and CEO.
Washington Trust’s Commercial Real Estate Group provides commercial real estate mortgages for the construction, refinancing, or purchasing of investment real estate projects, according to the release.
“The office building in Danbury provides an excellent opportunity for further growth in the region’s rich business economy,” MarcAurele said.
