Washington Trust supports Connecticut Center for Child Development with financing

MILFORD, CONN. – The Washington Trust Co. recently provided financing to the Connecticut Center for Child Development, a nonprofit school and service provider for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities in Milford, Conn.
The financial institution did not disclose details of the commercial financing package, but said in a press release it would go toward helping the school continue to provide services to people with Asperger’s syndrome, high-functioning autism and other related disorders.
“Suzanne and Roger Letso, the founders of CCCD, have accomplished a great deal in positioning the organization as an industry leader,” said Joseph M. Confessore, senior vice president and team leader of Washington Trust’s commercial banking group. “We are pleased to work with such a committed organization as we continue to expand our presence in the Connecticut market.”
The school, founded in 1995, operates two private schools in Milford, providing behavior analytic programming, outreach services, adult day services and diagnostic and educational evaluations, according to a press release. A third school is currently under development in Orange, Conn.
