Washington Trust to open third branch in Cranston

WESTERLY – The Washington Trust Co. has announced plans to open a new branch office in Cranston. The new branch, the company’s third in the city, will be located on the site of the former Tim Horton’s shop at 2174 Plainfield Pike, near Comstock Parkway and Interstate 295.

Slated to open in mid-summer 2012, the facility is currently undergoing renovations. The interior of the full-service branch will feature four teller stations, two customer service areas, management offices, a safe deposit box vault and an ATM. Exterior features will include two-lane drive up banking lanes, a night deposit safe and ATM.
