WESTERLY – A 2,746-square-foot home in the Watch Hill section recently sold for $3,275,000, marking the second-highest sale for the community this year.
Built in 1867, the 18 Wauwinnet Drive property overlooks Watch Hill Harbor and Napatree Point. It was sold on Friday to William and Judith Rosensweig, according to the assessor’s office. The previous owner was listed as Eric O’Brien, who bought the home in June 2014 for $1,550,000.
According to a news release from Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty, the shingled property is in a “coveted location” with “commanding views” throughout the house.
The property was listed with Judy Chace, broker/owner of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. The buyers were represented by Erin Marsh, sales associate with Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty.

This transaction marks the second-highest sale in Westerly this year, according to Rhode Island Statewide Multiple Listing Service. In January, a home at 6 Wapan Road in Watch Hill sold for $5,975,000.
