WESTERLY – A contemporary, oceanfront cottage in the Watch Hill area sold recently for $3,525,000, according to Randall, Realtors, which represented the buyers.
Built in 2015, the house at 111 Avondale Road sits on a 64,469 square-foot lot on Colonel Willie Cove, according to a news release. The property has a private dock and mooring.
The property, most recently owned by Michael and Stacy Mach, was last sold for $2.4 million in November 2007, according to online property records.
Deborah F. Yarde, of Bristol, Conn., purchased the property, according to the assessor’s office.
The sale, announced Wednesday, represented the fourth most-expensive in Westerly in the past 12 months, according to The Randall, Realtors.
Trevor Ainsworth, of the Shoreline Homes Group at Randall, Realtors of Watch Hill, represented the buyers. The listing was managed by Olga B. Goff Real Estate.
