T.F. Green ranks among most affordable airports in U.S.

WARWICK – T.F. Green Airport was ranked among the top 20 airports in CheapFlights.com’s fifth annual 2014 Airport Affordability Report.
The report ranked 101 of the most popular airports in the United States using average ticket prices from June to common domestic and international travel destinations.

The airport’s average airfare is cited as $314 by CheapFlights.com and the airport’s rankings improved from the 29th most affordable airport in 2013 to the 17th most affordable airport in 2014.
The most affordable airport was Charleston International in South Carolina with $191 as its average ticket price. Bradley International Airport in Connecticut was ranked No. 10 for an average airfare price of $295; last year it was No. 51. Logan International Airport in Boston was No. 76 for an average airfare price of $430; last year it was No. 88.
Last month, T.F. Green Airport also was named one of the best airports in the country by Conde Nast Traveler.
