WellOne hosting fundraiser in Oct.

BURRILLVILLE – WellOne Primary Medical and Dental Care, a nonprofit community health center founded 103 years ago, will hold a fundraiser, A Harvest of Health, to benefit its charitable services, on Oct. 26 from 6-11 p.m. at the Warwick Country Club.
WellOne, established in 1909, offers Rhode Islanders, regardless of their ability to pay, primary medical, dental and behavioral health services and serves 13,000 patients in medically underserved areas and to populations without options.
The event will include a musical performance by Livingston Taylor, cocktails, a dinner buffet, silent auction and raffle.
NBC 10 Health Check Reporter Barbara Morse Silva will serve as emcee.
WEllOne operates sites in Pascoag, Foster and North Kingstown and provides on-site laboratory services, and a sliding fee scale to qualifying insured patients. It also provides a discount pharmacy program in collaboration with CVS.
