Gov. Lincoln D. Chafee has been holding community forums at which business owners and other citizens are encouraged to ask questions but are also directed to resources that they may find useful in running their enterprises.

Is the governor's exercise going to produce tangible results in the state's business climate, or is it mostly designed to allow him another opportunity to sell his own agenda to the business community?
