As Gov. Donald L. Carcieri moves into the home stretch of his term in office, a number of candidates to replace him are starting to emerge, while others have backed away from expected candidacies.

For instance, Providence Mayor David N. Cicilline has made it clear that he is not running for governor, as has former Cranston Mayor Stephen Laffey.

If the election were held today, who among the listed candidates would you support for the next governor of Rhode Island?
