When I graduated from college I ended up working at the Boston Consulting Group. I was lucky enough to have CVS as a client. Inspiring leaders persuaded me to join CVS. My time here has been more than I could have hoped for.
What’s the best career advice you’ve received?
Your successes and failures are not yours alone. Surround yourself with good people, invest in their growth and development and you all will have the best opportunity to succeed.
What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?
Work hard, the investments you make today will set the foundation for your future. Don’t hesitate to take risks, if they fail, you have plenty of time to make up for it. Take time to enjoy yourself, you’ll never get a year of your life back.
How do you keep a work-life balance?
If you always commit your attention fully to what you are doing now, you’ll be more productive at work and more satisfied by personal commitments.
What one thing in your professional life would you like a do-over on?
I wish I would have pursued an opportunity to work and live internationally.
