Will a second federal stimulus bill be necessary to help the economy right itself?

It is too early to know if the $787 billion federal stimulus package that went into effect in February is having the desired effect.

But it is not too early to consider what might be needed should the combination of infrastructure spending and tax cuts not produce the desired effect on the American economy.

With so many people protesting the deficits that the current stimulus plan is responsible for, will Congress and the president be able to pass any more spending bills to help the economy?
