Workshop covers financial feasibility

PROVIDENCE – The financial feasibility of creating viable business from a good idea will be one of the topics covered in a Jan. 8 workshop that serves as a preparation for the 2014 Rhode Island Business Plan Competition.
The workshop, “Turning Your Idea Into a Business,” will be held at the Betaspring office at 95 Chestnut Street in Providence.
Panelists include angel investor Bill Cesare, founder and CEO of Focal Upright Furniture Martin Keen and Managing Director of the Slater Technology Fund Thorne Sparkman.
The workshop is free, but pre-registration is required and can be done online.
Applications to the Business Plan Competition will be accepted through March 31.
