Wright-Pierce selected for Circle of Excellence award

PROVIDENCE – PSMJ Resources Inc., a management consulting firm for the architect, engineer and contracting industries, has selected Wright-Pierce to receive a 2014 Circle of Excellence award, the ninth consecutive year the environmental engineering firm has received the designation.
“Wright-Pierce is honored to once again be selected to the Circle of Excellence,” said John W. Braccio, president and CEO of Wright-Pierce. “We pride ourselves on sustainable business practices which guide both our in-house work culture, and how we deal with every client. Technical excellence, sustainable design, and committed client service are the cornerstones of our practice and our success.”
The Circle of Excellence is designed to highlight firms that are successfully managed, based on 13 key performance metrics that demonstrate outstanding achievements in profitability, overhead, cash flow, productivity, business development, staff growth and turnover, Wright-Pierce said.
“The Circle of Excellence represents the top 20 percent of the participants in PSMJ’s annual benchmark survey,” said Kate Allen, director of PSMJ’s architect, engineer and contracting industry surveys. “Success isn’t necessarily defined by the size of a firm, their practice area, geographic location or even the markets they serve, but instead by a strong commitment to solid business practices.”
Wright-Pierce is an employee-owned engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater, stormwater and infrastructure services for public and private clients throughout the Northeast region. The company has a staff of more than 200 engineers and support professionals located in seven offices throughout New England, including in Providence.
