Alissa Foley joined Providence Business News in November 2009 as an editorial intern and was appointed editorial assistant in June 2010. She previously served as a copy editor for The Archway, Bryant University's student newspaper, from 2008 to 2010. Foley received a bachelor's degree in literary and cultural studies from Bryant, and was awarded the university's English and Cultural Studies Department Award for academic achievement in her field of study.
