On Friday, nearly 200 people, including Gov. Gina M. Raimondo and Rhode Island Public Transit Authority Board Chair Wayne Kezirian joined Grow Smart RI at the R.I. Convention Center for “Next Stop: Making Transit Work for RI” — a forum to discuss ways to most effectively leverage the state’s transit system to benefit more Rhode Islanders, as well as the state’s economy and environment.
