The Rhode Island Business Plan Competition is inviting the public to take part in its Elevator Pitch Contest, which will be held on Nov. 15, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Tech Collective, 166 Valley St., Building 3.
RevUp by Betaspring recently announced the addition of three new companies to its portfolio and is looking to add a few more before year’s end. It said it is specifically looking to recruit from the Rhode Island market.
The Slater Technology Fund has invested $50,000 in local water technology company HMSolution Inc.
The company, co-founded by Brown University graduate and CEO Margaret Lengerich, has created technology designed to remove eight of the most common heavy metals in drinking water at a cost lower than traditional filtration methods
