Eileen Howard Boone, CVS Caremark Corp. senior vice president of corporate social responsibility and philanthropy, recently received the Charles H. Moore Award for leadership and corporate community engagement during the 2014 CECP Summit. Boone was recognized for her philanthropic leadership and achievements, including the creation of the All Kids Can program, as well as her role in the decision to ban tobacco products in all 7,600 stores. Under her leadership, CVS Caremark Corp. has donated nearly $75 million in 2013 to promote better health.
Rev. Gabriel Pivarnik has been named vice president for Mission and Ministry at Providence College, where he will maintain, enhance and promote the mission of Providence College as a Catholic and Dominican institution of higher education.
Richard Beretta recently received the Michael Wiggins Leadership Award from Friends Way and the Light of Hope Philanthropy Award from Gateway Healthcare, for his extensive involvement with both organizations. Beretta has been selected as a Rhode Island “Super Lawyer” in 2013, among several other recognitions.
