Laura Dauphinais, a Realtor at Century 21 Gonsalves-Pastore Realty, has been recognized with Rhode Island Housing’s Realtor of the Quarter Award for assisting homebuyers with Rhode Island Housing’s FirstHomes mortgages. This is the third time Dauphinais has been acknowledged for her efforts to connect homebuyers with the Rhode Island Housing Loan Center, which specializes in providing mortgages and key services to homebuyers.
Christine Cunneen, of Hire Image LLC, was named 2014-15 chair of the board of directors of the National Association of Background Screeners. Cunneen began her career as a CPA for major companies, such as Barnes and Noble and ING. While she was pursuing her MBA, she had an accounting client for an investigative company. The company had noticed a demand for employment screening and Cunneen’s business proposal landed her a position as CEO to lead the employment-screening market. She later became the co-founder of Hire Image LLC, a nationwide background screening, employment-verification and drug-testing company.
Kara Williams has been promoted to senior vice president and director of Internal Audit, where she will oversee the department’s involvement in pre-and post-implementation projects, as well as the annual risk assessment and planning process, among other duties.
