Jessica Holden Sherwood has been named president of the board for the Providence Children’s Museum. She is the executive officer of Sociologists for Women in Society, headquartered at the University of Rhode Island, and teaches in the sociology department. She has served on the Providence Children’s Museum’s board since 2007. •
