Joseph P. Hassett has been named executive vice president of investments at Janney Montgomery Scott LLC. Hassett has 25 years of experience serving clients as an investment adviser at Bank of America. A former professional basketball player, Hassett was drafted by the Seattle Supersonics and had a six-year NBA career. He has a B.A. from Providence College. •
