Kick-off Fundraiser!

Providence | -- Dress for Success Worldwide is pleased to announce the opening of a new Dress for Success location serving Rhode Island. The kick-off fundraiser is set for February 25th, 2010 at Café Nuovo in Providence.

"Rhode Island is in desperate need of this program. With our help, hopefully we can help women get back into the workforce," said Peggy Porter-Quinlan, Chief Executive Officer for Dress for Success Rhode Island.

Peggy Porter-Quilan and her daughter Melissa Quinlan-Finnigan decided to launch Dress for Success in Rhode Island after learning their home state had one of the highest unemployment rates.

Founded in New York City in 1997, Dress for Success is an international not-for-profit organization offering services designed to help our clients find jobs and remain employed. Each Dress for Success client receives one suit when she has a job interview and can return for a second suit or separates when she finds work.
