Amica honored by J.D. Power
LINCOLN – Amica Mutual Insurance Co. was honored recently at J.D. Power and Associates Customer Service Roundtable for ranking highest in customer satisfaction among auto insurers for 10 years running.
Robert DiMuccio, the Lincoln-based company’s chairman and chief executive officer, also was recognized by the market research firm for making customer service a companywide priority.
He accepted a commemorative plaque crediting Amica’s 3,200 employees at the Jan. 27 event in New York City.
Amica has been ranked highest in customer satisfaction among national auto insurers for 10 consecutive years. It also has been ranked highest in customer satisfaction among national homeowners insurers for the past eight years.
In March, Amica also was named one of the top 25 companies in customer service by BusinessWeek magazine in its annual “Customer Service Champ” rankings.
