The Sons of Liberty Spirits Co., makers of Uprising American Whiskey, will offer whiskey tastings and tours of its distillery in South Kingstown Saturday. Uprising is a malt whiskey distilled from a flavorful stout beer. During tours, guests will explore the distillery and learn about the process of making whiskey. Those who participate in tastings will sample a variety of whiskies to understand what makes them different. Tasting participants can take home their tasting glasses.
